FCE provided project management and daily construction inspection services for the Hanover Borough Interceptor Upgrade project, the main sewer line for Hanover, PA.
The project involved laying 2.3 miles of pipe in order to expand the capacity of the system and avoid periodic flooding of the manholes. It was located in farmlands and wetlands, which required the constant diligence and attention of the inspector to environmental impacts. The overall cost of construction was $8 – $10 million.
Members of the FCE team were on site daily to inspect the progress of the project, preparing daily reports and photographing the work that was accomplished, size of the crew, equipment and materials used and weather conditions.
